Named for one of the most enduring trees in northern Michigan, Cedar brings that same solid character to your Traverse City stay. This upper-floor two-bedroom in the Timberline Collection sits inside a character-filled building that's been carefully remodeled, the result is a space that feels genuine and well-lived-in, not overly polished or cookie-cutter.

THE SPACE

Earthy tones, natural textures, and subtle cedar-inspired touches throughout the design. Two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and enough room for two couples, a small family, or a group that likes their own space at the end of the day. Economy upscale: nicely done and honest about what it is.

Step outside onto your private balcony overlooking Eighth Street, with seating for four, it's a natural spot for morning coffee, evening wind-downs, or just watching TC move.

OUTDOOR + COMMUNAL SPACES

Cedar guests have access to the Timberline Collection's shared communal area, a well-set-up outdoor space with seating, a picnic table, a new grill, and a large umbrella. It's the kind of place that turns a good trip into a great one, grab some local market finds, fire up the grill, and enjoy an evening in the heart of TC.

One dedicated parking spot is included. Street parking is also available nearby.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

You're steps from the TART Trail and a short walk from some of TC's best spots, The Filling Station for wood-fired pizza and local craft beer, Raduno for Italian just up the street, and a whole stretch of local restaurants and shops in every direction. This is one of the more alive corners of town.

Worth knowing: there's a nightclub behind the building that picks up in the evenings. Every unit at the Timberline Collection comes with a sound machine, and most guests find it easy to tune out, but we'd rather you know now than be surprised later.
